Let's all reach into my brain and stir things up, shall we?

Crazy Go Nuts!

Sa leaves for Australia on Sunday. Natalie leaves for Scotland on Tuesday. This week has and will be full of going-away parties, which I have taken full advantage of. It has been so much fun, I forgot I'm not in junior high (hence Bring it On: All or Nothing). Today I found a way to volunteer at school without putting in hardly any effort, and I'll get a reference letter out of it. I'm a freakin genius.

Bev, Dan and I applied for East Campus Village. Next year is going to be sweet, sweet parties. Rock on!

Feveresque

How long do you think is a safe amount of time to keep using Vicks Vapour Rub after it expires? Surely one month is not deadly.

Today I have a touch of the disease about me, but I'll live. It does not make for a very productive weekend tho. I have so much homework to do already. Because of Prof Bastard (of soc 102 fame last semester) I can expect 80-100 pages of reading a week in suckology 332 alone. Fuck you, Prof Bastard, fuck you. Sorry, rage going on. More or less because of him I had to turn down a job offer at the u of a that was in my field of interest. So excuse me if I'm a little bitter.

The rest of my classes are looking more or less decent, altho anthro 310 has a total of 7 textbooks, which I'm less than thrilled about. But my other 3 classes (soc of populations, soc psych, and demography of marriage and the family ie soc 459!!) are all relatively interesting which hopefully will make up for it. Anyway, I'm feeling somewhat burn-y so I think it's time to get out of the basement now. Ta.

Plagerism

I stole this idea from Daniel, who apparently stole it from someone else. But I like it so there.

2006: A YEAR IN REVIEW

January
This month started out sucking because Adam broke up with me about 2 days after New Year's. So instead I started 2006 getting to know other friends better, which worked out pretty decently because really, I know some awesome, awesome people. Like you!

February
A much, much better month, aside from the week of hell (aka midterms). John and I started going out, and I fulfilled my life's ambition of going to Italy. Hard to top that one.

March
Does anyone remember March? I sure don't. I went to classes, learned about cool things. Hung out with friends. Oh, started going to karate again. Yeah that's about it.

April
Not a bad time, entirely. Wrote finals, which always make me a little bitchy, but I made up for it by spending time with the posse and the guys.

May
Started off not so hot, what with the failing to find an office job and having to work at the greenhouse again. But I met some cool people there and became pro. Started watching the playoffs for the first time ever. Had a visit from Colleen. Eventually scored a better job. Go me!

June
Began work at Good Sam. Gained experience at filing. Bonus?

July
Went camping with John for a weekend. Had summertime fun at barbeques and such. Took over the house periodically when my parents went camping. Badminton! Word at.

August
Went to visit Colleen in Vic to see how she rolls. Had way too much fun. Then John broke up with me. Had less fun.

September
A pretty ugly month. Experimented with alcohol and relied way too much on friends. Became stressy from school and extracurriculars. Learned to kickbox. Took bminton with Sa.

October
Became 20. Shit I'm old! Partied it up. Went to Cow Town for Thanksgiving, which was well needed. Started writing midterms and such.

November
Started talking to John again. Learned to manage my time better. And how to BS papers. Increased financial independence by getting my first credit card. Got a gold medal for sparring in the karate tourney! Victory.

December
Christmas shopping! Spent way too much money. Had the easiest finals week thus far in my university career. Salvaged my grades. Learned how to spend free time. Took the plunge and got back together with John. Spent a day with the Colleener.

January 2007
Yes I realise this hasn't happened yet. So sue me. Resolutions:
1. Learn to cook.
2. Learn to drive a standard.
3. Learn to dance.
4. Move out.
5. Spend more time with people I don't spend enough time with!!
