Prelude to the Escapades

Well, I promised I would, and now I have finally posted the pics from Tas' Birthday Escapades, only one short month after the fact. I also tried to post the Eng Week pics but it is now vastly clear that they do not want to be revealed to the public. And so, back by popular demand is the ever-fabulous Gang!!!! I take no responsibility for these goings-on whatsoever.

Awwwwwwww, look at the wittle fwiends hugging it up. They're so cute I just want to take them home with me. Oh, wait! They're already in my home.

Don't worry, we actually did mix the smoothie. This is just the before shot. Alth I don't think there's an after shot. But that's beside the point. The point is, we did not actually drink them in this form. Also please note the extreme oldness of my blender (hint hint Mom.)

You know, it's probably better if you just don't ask about this one.

We made smoothies. I am holding the blender.

Tas + cake + 3 forks = fun for all.

Our beloved Taslim and her free cake. Not Spongecake, tho, alas...

Tas is proud of her garlic toast. If you look carefully, you can see our waiter in the background. "Were you calling me?", indeed.

This happens to be Tas' garlic toast. Becca is a total THIEF. Hahaha jk.

My, you're looking provocative! Rather scandalous, really!

Becca takes a pic of me taking a pic of her taking a pic of me...

Bev is looking FABULOUS in DQ.

This is a random pic of Buster being absolutely adorable. Awwwww! Bussy! He's laying on the back of the couch, btw.

Ode to the Colleener

Ok, Colleen posted and so now she is making me post. It is a reciprocal relationship, you see. Look! I'm learning anthro! Good thing, considering my midterm is tomorrow. Last one, y'all! Let's all dance the Happy Dance.
Umm...what else? I have finally applied for TWO, count em, two whole summer jobs. Go me! Also I've signed up for a badminton course of epic proportions, which is sorely needed as evidenced by my rallying with Sabi on Friday. We needs the practice.
The near future will bring 2 more assignments and then it's home free until finals. I also still have to pick a minor and apply for next year, which i was supposed to do about 2 1/2 months ago. I'm leaning towards sociology. Give me your input, folks. This concludes our broadcast day.

Thoughts that Just Happen to be Assorted

HEY EVERYBODY! This is the update of the century! Ok, maybe not, but at least Colleen's eternal secret is revealed: SHE HAS A BLOG!!! You'll have to talk to her about her strange ways and not wanting to reveal it and all, but at least now y'all know why i was showing her how to post pics. It's not cuz i'm like, super boring or anything. No, really. I'm not.
Hey, has anyone else noticed that there are live trees in the business atrium? How long has this been going on?
Colleen wants me to move to Victoria next year and I am imploding internally because it sounds cool but I don't even know what I'm taking next year and I don't have a summer job yet and aaaaaarrrrrrggggg. Ok I'm good now.

And So, To Recap...

Hhokay. This is my week (as I can remember it.)
Thursday
Colleen came over in the afternoon and mad photography escapade ensued. It was accompanied by Romanov smoothies and (what else?) Russian accents. Then the African cults took over and took apart cars and put them in trees. The cows didn't talk to us because they don't speak our language.
I woke up at 2 in the morning thinking it was 8. Colleen was thinking I was on the crack. I didn't dismantle the alarm. I'm sorry, but it's really more funny that way anyway.
Friday
Colleen escapaded her way into the university to sit in on the lovely "Classical Mythology" with Prof Awesome. Prof Awesome sick and class cancelled. Boo.
Colleen met up with other folk and took over CAB basement with them. One was writing French poetry. Highly sophisticated stuff, man. I went to EAS, which apparently Colleen is too cool for. So she went to Anthro with Prof Scary Hair and it was THE MOST BORING anthro class to date. My appologies. Although Colleener did find the table-desks fascinating.
We went rock climbing and there were bohemian Rastifarian athletic types everywhere. We are out of practice.
Saturday
The Colleenman Returneth for a wee visit. The she leaves us.
Tas, Bev, and I call each other approximately 98 times and finally decide to change our minds again. We go escapade it up for ice cream at the DQ with her gentleman friend, and then to see singing pirates and a major-general in a nightgown. Laughter.
Sunday
Bev and I interview Gloria of the Jamaica. She is interesting although hard to understand when she talks while eating cookies with out her teeth.
Monday
Monday we interview Anna of the Uganda. Hey! That's fun to say. I have met royalty. She's cool in my books.
Tuesday
I know Colleen's eternal secret. I shan't reveal it tho.
Congratulations! You have made it to THE END.

An Explaination is in Order

OK, y'all, don't mind that last picture. I was showing Colleen the wonders of posting pictures, and how to do it, and this is what got posted as a demonstration. L-dawg would be Colleen; don't ask me where she got it from. Only her brain can fathom these sorts of things.
This post is just to tide you over for a little while, because I have more to say but not the time to say it. So stay tuned, loyal fans, and I will reward your patience.
Ha! When I type in "ass" in the address bar, my blog comes up. Ass, indeed.
